Designed by architect Henry Hobson Richardson, who also designed the famous Trinity Church in Boston, Massachusetts.

This is a test roll image from my ICA Icarette camera which I just purchased from @tamarkinchicago, and overhauled the shutter on. I estimate the camera is probably from around 1920 based on the serial numbers. The Water Works were already 30 years old when this camera was new.

A manual would have been great, my first test roll was entirely out of focus due to my not pulling the lens standard to the correct position. I also had to crop the image because of light leaks.

I’ll try to tame this camera a bit more – when I do focus correctly images are sharp.
